Set up should be straightforward and not take longer than 15 to 20 minutes. No tools are required, nor is a contractor. You do it yourself!
Pleco has two main components the Sensor and the Display. Connect the display to the external charger, power it up and follow the instructions on the screen.
After you connect to the Wi-Fi, register and enter date and time, the display will tell you to power up the sensor. Next you will attach the sensor your water meter. Water meters are generally located in the basement of your home or underground at the curb, driveway.
Attaching the sensor to the water meter is just like putting on a wristwatch. Just make sure the sensor does not block the water meter reading dial.
Pleco comes in a plexiglass container that you will use to calibrate the sensor. Just follow the instructions on the display and fill the container to the 1-Gallon water line. That’s it! Pleco is ready to go.
